1.1 These Guidelines apply to all your activities of browsing, posting, registering, and participating in events on the Platform.
1.2 In case of any conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail. See Section 1: Accepting These Terms.
2.1 Respect and Courtesy
Harassment, discrimination, insults, or malicious slurs of any kind are prohibited, including but not limited to race, gender, religion, or age.
If any unintentional offense occurs, you may file an appeal or provide an explanation; Himeet will handle it on a case-by-case basis.
2.2 Accuracy and Completeness of Information
When posting events or comments, provide accurate and complete information, including date, time, location, fees, and Organiser contact details.
If any event details change, the Organiser must update them promptly to avoid impacting participant safety and experience. See Section 2.4: Organiser Responsibilities.
2.3 Content Compliance and Copyright Protection
All user-generated content (UGC) must comply with applicable laws and these Community Guidelines.
It is forbidden to upload or distribute illegal, defamatory, obscene, extremist, or copyrighted content without permission.
If you upload third-party materials, ensure you have authorization and properly attribute the source; otherwise, Himeet may remove the content and pursue legal action.
2.4 Privacy and Data Protection
Respect others’ privacy; do not collect or disclose personal information (e.g., ID numbers, addresses, contact details) without authorization.
For sensitive data, follow the requirements in Section 3: Privacy and Consumer Information.
2.5 Safety and Health
When participating in offline events, comply with local laws, venue safety guidelines, and use any required protective equipment.
For activities involving sports, outdoor settings, or specialized venues, ensure you have the necessary experience or qualifications.
3.1 Compliance and Qualifications
Organisers offering professional services (e.g., training, medical, legal) must provide valid licenses or certifications. See Section 10.4: Professional Certifications Requirement.
3.2 Fees and Refunds
Clearly list event fees and refund policies in compliance with Section 13: Fees and Refunds.
Any additional charges must be disclosed on the event page and agreed upon by participants.
3.3 Venue and Equipment
Specify the venue address, transportation options, and accessibility details.
If specialized equipment or venue restrictions apply, inform participants in advance and provide usage instructions.
3.4 Emergency Preparedness
Organisers must establish emergency response plans, including medical aid, fire evacuation, and incident notification channels.
The event page should list emergency contacts and their information.
4.1 Reporting Channels
Click the “Report Issue” button on event pages, user profiles, or in the Help Center; select the appropriate report type and provide evidence.
Reports are handled confidentially, investigated thoroughly, and feedback is provided. See Section 5.3: Event Feedback and Reporting System.
4.2 Appeal Process
If you are flagged or suspended, you may submit an appeal within 14 days with explanations and supporting materials. Handled per Section 2.3: Flagging Algorithm.
4.3 Community Moderation
Himeet employs both algorithmic filters and human review to pre-screen and post-review high-risk content.
Repeat violators or malicious reporters may face account sanctions or content removal.
5.1 Data Collection Scope
The Platform only collects necessary event-related information and public activity data to enhance recommendations and services.
Data is not shared with third parties for marketing without explicit consent. See Section 3: Privacy and Consumer Information.
5.2 User Rights
You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information via Settings > Privacy.
To delete your account, follow the procedure in Section 4.3: Deleting Your Account.
5.3 Data Security Measures
The Platform uses encryption, access controls, and regular security audits to protect user data.
6.1 These Guidelines may be updated to reflect Platform needs and legal changes.
6.2 Major updates will be announced 30 days in advance on the Platform and via WeChat subscription messages. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. See Section 17: Modifications to the Terms or Services.
