Being in a new country shouldn't mean feeling disconnected. Too often, the best events are lost in a sea of digital noise, and opportunities to make new friends are missed because social circles feel closed off.
We believe there’s a better way. HiMeet is your trusted guide to offline entertainment and socialising in the UK. It’s a place built on the idea of easy discovery, quick sign-ups, and sincere connections, with plenty of pleasant surprises along the way.
We bring all the wonderful moments you might have missed into one place. With a single tap, your spot at an event is confirmed. From there, it’s all about stepping into the real world to interact and create lasting friendships.
With HiMeet, you’ll find the connections that belong to you. Every meetup is a new story waiting to begin—and we make starting it simple, safe, and truly rewarding.
Justin is studying Mathematics at Imperial College London. With a long-standing focus on the UK Chinese social ecosystem, he understands the information gaps and networking challenges international students face.
As CEO of HiMeet, Justin oversees strategy, brand positioning, market expansion, and day-to-day operations, with the goal of building a one-stop offline social-entertainment platform for Chinese communities in the UK. He blends technical innovation with user-centric design, drives rapid, data-led product iteration, and has quickly grown a loyal core user base.
Educated at an independent school in southern England since middle school, Justin has lived in the UK for seven years. This cross-cultural journey gives him a nuanced grasp of both Chinese community needs and the local British landscape—making him a natural bridge between the two.
Dr. Minghan holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Leeds and brings years of software and algorithm engineering experience. He has led AI model optimisation, sensor systems, and automation projects across several UK high-tech companies.
As HiMeet’s co-founder and CTO, he owns the platform’s technical architecture and algorithmic engine, including the intelligent event recommendation system, AI moderation mechanisms, and data analytics stack.
Before founding HiMeet, he worked as an AI Developer (LLM automation) and an Instrumentation & Software Engineer on industrial tomography (CT) systems—experience that spans cutting-edge algorithms through to production-grade deployment. He is committed to using technology to break down information barriers and make social experiences for the UK Chinese community more efficient, safe, and intelligent.
